"Move and Pause" — Inversion Workshop Series
One of the main purposes of practicing yoga is to cultivate the ability to adapt to whatever life offers us in the present moment. No matter the form of the challenge, we can learn to stay ready and open to meet each moment’s needs and requirements.
Through yoga, we expand our inner toolbox, gaining the awareness and resources to respond to life’s situations with the right tools.
In this workshop series, we will focus on inversions, which can be both mentally and physically challenging; arm balances to build strength and confidence; and yin yoga to slow down and listen to the quiet whispers of the body.
DATES
January, 30th, 18.30 - 20.30 Uhr: Evening Masterclass
Open to all levels. This workshop will explore familiar arm balances along with inversions, hip openers, and heart openers, while focusing on core strength to build stability and stamina. We’ll finish with soothing supine poses, pranayama, and a nourishing shavasana. Throughout the session, variations and modifications will be offered to support everyone’s unique capabilities.
January, 31st, 10.30 - 12.30 Uhr: Morning Masterclass
This workshop will mainly focus on backbends, whilst also incorporating handstands and forearm balance variations, explored through a Yin & Yang sequence to increase flexibility while building strength. We will include fun partner work exercises to safely experience inverted heart openers, and the session will conclude with partner-supported stretches, pranayama, and meditation.
January, 31st, 14.00 - 16.00 Uhr: Afternoon Yin Masterclass
During this relaxing and gentle workshop we will focus on connective tissue and fascia to reduce the tough impacts of previous workshops and the unwanted results of our daily life activities. We will focus on hips, pelvis, lower spine and heart area. Some calming music, blankets, bolsters, straps and eye pillows will take our practice to a deeper and more comfortable level.
February, 1st, 10.45 - 12.45 Uhr: Morning Masterclass
This master class is designed for anyone who wants to achieve their first free handstand or improve their inversion practice. We will build a safe journey toward handstands while also exploring forearm balance variations. Throughout the class, we will include partner work, core exercises to create stability in inversions, and deep stretching to increase flexibility and help prevent injuries. The session will conclude with partner-supported stretches, pranayama, and meditation.
