About the Workshops
In this masterclass series, we will work on inversions and inverted heart openers—postures that can feel mentally and physically challenging for many of us. These poses invite us to shift our perspective, build trust, and cultivate courage and stability, not only on the mat but also in daily life.
With over 10 years of teaching and personal practice, Özgür places strong emphasis on creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and confident to explore. Through progressive preparation, intelligent sequencing, partner work, and hands-on guidance, you will learn how to approach inversions with more ease, awareness, and control.
Together, we will look beyond the technical shape of the poses and explore their deeper impact: how inversions can help you meet the present moment with more openness and align more fully with what life is offering you right now.

Saturday, 2nd of May: Headstand & Forearm Balance Variations
12—2pm
Open to all levels. This workshop will focus on Headstand and Forearm Balance variations, while building the foundations necessary for a safe and sustainable inversion practice. We will work with core strength and shoulder stability to create both physical support and a sense of lightness upside down.
The practice will include preparatory drills, partner exercises, and accessible variations to support different experience levels. We will also explore safe ways of entering and exiting the poses, as well as how to fall without fear or injury.

Sunday, 3rd of May: Handstand Variations
12—2pm
This masterclass is designed for anyone who wishes to achieve their first free handstand or refine and deepen their existing handstand practice. We will build a progressive and mindful journey toward Handstand variations, exploring alignment, balance, and the relationship between strength and relaxation.
Throughout the class, we will integrate partner work, core conditioning, and mobility exercises for shoulders, hips, and spine, as well as deep stretching to increase flexibility and help prevent injuries. Attention will also be given to overcoming fear and developing confidence when balancing upside down.
